Sanctuary Sleep Co: My inventRight Interview & The Future of Licensing - Sanctuary Sleep Co-Crown Lift System

From Dream to Reality: My Journey with inventRight and the Crown Lift System

If you’ve been following the Sanctuary Sleep Co. story, you know that the Crown Lift System was born out of a personal mission to redefine sleep health. But what happens after you have a great idea and a working prototype? How do you take that "aha!" moment and turn it into a product that can reach thousands of bedrooms across the globe?

I recently had the incredible opportunity to sit down for an interview with the team at inventRight to discuss exactly that.

Why inventRight?

For those who aren’t familiar, inventRight is the gold standard for product licensing education. Founded by Stephen Key and Andrew Krauss, they teach inventors how to "rent" their ideas to large corporations, allowing the big players to handle the manufacturing and distribution while the inventor earns royalties.

When I first started, I was wearing every single hat—designer, manufacturer, marketer, and customer service rep. Through the inventRight philosophy, I learned that I didn’t have to do it all alone.

Key Takeaways from the Interview

During our conversation, we dove deep into the highs and lows of the development process. Here are a few "behind-the-scenes" topics we covered:

  • Solving a Real Problem: We talked about why the Crown Lift System resonates so much—it’s not just a gadget; it’s a solution for better breathing and comfort.

  • The Power of Persistence: Licensing isn't about luck; it's about strategy. We discussed the importance of a professional sell sheet and reaching out to the right "decision-makers."

  • The "Provisional" Secret: One of the biggest lessons I learned from inventRight was how to protect my idea using a Provisional Patent Application (PPA), giving me the "perceived ownership" needed to pitch safely.

What’s Next?

Being interviewed by a group that has helped thousands of inventors get their products onto the shelves of retailers like Walmart and Target was a surreal "full circle" moment for me. It validated that the Crown Lift System isn't just a project—it's a serious contender in the sleep industry.

"The hardest part of inventing isn't coming up with the idea; it's having the courage to share it with the world."

Stay tuned for the full video release of the interview! I’ll be sharing the link here as soon as it goes live. Whether you're a fellow inventor or a Sanctuary Sleep customer, I hope this journey inspires you to keep pushing toward your own "big idea."
